What kind of amenities are available?

What amenities are available for children?

As amenities for children aged 3 and over, we provide sandals, indoor wear (muumuus for girls, aloha shirts for boys), and light gowns for the cold season (November to May). These are available for rental next to the front desk, so please check the size before bringing one.

We provide the same bath towels, towels, and toothbrushes as adults. If you bring wet bath towels to the front desk, we will exchange them for new ones.

 

The following equipment is available for rental for infants and young children. Please let us know when you make your reservation if you require it. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate your request as the number is limited.

  • Bed guards (fences attached to beds to prevent falls)
  • Formula preparation pot (a convenient pot for preparing formula, as it can be boiled and kept warm)
  • Step stool (a supporting platform for small children to use in places they cannot reach, such as the bathroom)
  • Bedwetting pads (pads placed between the sheet and the futon to prevent the futon from getting wet)

Does the accommodation plan include admission tickets?

Guests who make reservations through the official Hawaiians reservation site will receive admission tickets for the duration of their stay. (2 days for a 2-night stay, 3 days for a 3-day stay)

If you booked through a travel agency, the conditions may be different, so please contact them for details.

If you make a reservation through Shareholder Benefits or Yuken Club, admission tickets are not included, so please bring the required number of tickets.

Can I play in the pool etc. before check-in?

Even if you arrive before check-in time, please complete the check-in procedure at the front desk. After that, you can play. Please bring your own bath towels, etc., or use the rental corner.

Can I still enjoy the pool after checking out?

You can leave your luggage at the accommodation's cloakroom and enjoy yourself.You can also use the amenities provided in the guest rooms (bath towels, towels, indoor wear, sandals).

Luggage storage will be congested after check-out. Guests coming by car are kindly requested to load their luggage into their car in advance.

 

How much does it cost?

It will vary depending on the date of stay, room type, number of people, etc.

 

The accommodation fees for children are as follows:

Infants (children aged 3 and over): 50% of the adult rate
Elementary school students: 70% of adults

Is there parking available for guests?

We have a separate parking lot for overnight guests, separate from the one for day visitors.

Guests staying at Hotel Hawaiians or ViRport should drive their cars to the entrance of Hotel Hawaiians.

Guests staying at Monolith Tower should drive their cars to the Monolith Tower entrance.

What footwear should I wear inside the building?

Please be barefoot when using the poolside, hot springs, and bathing areas in swimwear.

We recommend wearing beach sandals when moving around areas and facilities other than those listed above.

What is the dress code inside the building?

The facility is filled with a summer atmosphere, and you can wear light clothing such as swimsuits and T-shirts all year round, especially in the water park.

However, you may feel cold if your rash guard or swimsuit is still wet, or if there are water droplets on it, so please remove your rash guard after getting out of the water and dry your body immediately. It is also convenient to bring a towel.

Although the building is temperature-controlled, there are some areas where the temperature is low. Please bring something to wear over your clothes when moving around to ensure a comfortable stay.

Can I use the outdoor bathing facilities all year round?

Should I bring a swimsuit?

In addition to the nude hot springs, our hotel also has a regular pool and hot springs that can be entered in swimsuits.

If you use these facilities, you must wear a swimsuit.

We also offer a swimsuit rental service for an additional fee, so please feel free to use this service as well.

Are there any other costs to enter the facility besides the admission fee?

The pool and hot springs are available for admission. Slides, coin lockers, food and drink, massages, games, rental equipment, etc. are charged separately.

Regarding the Polynesian (Hula Girl) show, there are some unreserved seats available during the daytime show, but all seats are paid seats during the evening show.

Is there a place to eat the food I buy at the food court?

There is a rest and dining area on the first floor of the Amusement Building.

In the dining area, once you have finished your meal, please quickly give up your seat to the next person.

We do not allow people to reserve seats by leaving their belongings. Any belongings left to reserve a seat may be removed after a certain period of time has passed.

Can I bring swim rings, floats, kickboards?

You are welcome to bring it with you.

Do you have an air pump for swim rings?

Up to what age can children of the opposite sex enter the baths together?

At our facility, we only allow children of the opposite sex up to preschool age 6 years old to enter the baths and changing rooms.

*Elementary school children are not permitted to use this facility.

Can infants play?

In the children's pool zone "Wai Wai Ohana," we have a baby pool called "Angel's Water" that can be used while wearing water diapers. Children who wear diapers on a daily basis are not allowed to use pools other than those mentioned above, or hot springs where you can enter in a swimsuit. However, they are allowed to walk around the poolside and dip their feet in shallow water. There are no restrictions on entering the hot springs (baths) naked. "Wai Wai Ohana" has a nursing room and diaper changing space.

Children who regularly wear diapers cannot use the pool.

Can I use a rash guard?

You may wear rash guards or other clothing sold for use in the water.

Are there any precautions regarding the pool?

Precautions when using the pool

  • Please be sure to take a shower before swimming and after using the toilet. Please do some warm-up exercises before swimming.
  • Please refrain from using this service if you are not fit for the above criteria.
  • Small children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
    (Children who are not stretching and whose shoulders are above the water surface are not permitted to use the pool alone.)

Mauna Black and Laki River usage guidelines

  • When using the Mauna Black two-seater,Anyone weighing more than 80 kg (per person) cannot ride the ride.

  • When using the Mauna Black two-seater, if there is a large difference in weight, you cannot ride.

What are the weather and road conditions like in winter?

Iwaki City is located in the southeast of Fukushima Prefecture, and is blessed with a relatively small temperature difference and a mild climate all year round.  Please read the following before using Mauna Village. Guest safety is our top priority, and we may close the glamping facility if we deem it unsafe.
 If bad weather is predicted, we will notify you by email starting four days before your check-in date. In addition, the facility may be closed due to sudden changes in weather, even on the day of your stay. If it is decided that the facility will be closed, we will notify you by email or phone. In this case, no cancellation fee will be charged, but if we receive a cancellation request from you before the closure is decided, a cancellation fee will be charged.

What kind of amenities do you have?

Face towels, bath towels, toothbrush sets, and hair dryers (in the cottages and shower building) are provided.
In addition, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, razors, basic cosmetics, combs, and hair dryers are provided in the large public bath at the golf course.

Aloha Mumuu does not provide room wear rental or pajamas.

How many people can stay in a tent?

The largest tent, the Lotus Tent, has four single beds and can accommodate up to six people. The other tents have two semi-double beds and are recommended for two people, but can accommodate up to four people, such as families. If there is one more person staying on the bed, they will use a cot (camping cot) and sleeping bags, and if there is two more people staying on the bed, they will use a cot and an inflatable mattress (camping mattress) and sleeping bags.

We would like to use the facility as a group, so could we sit next to each other?

We do not accept requests for specific rooms, but we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Free Wi-Fi is available in the tent area.
Mobile routers are available for cabin guests. Please request one at check-in.

Are there any electrical outlets?

Available in all guest rooms.

Can I lock my tents or cabins?

Yes, you can. Please use the security box (safe) inside the tent for your valuables.

Is there a lights out time?

There will be a quiet period after 22:00 PM.

Incidentally,The gates are closed from 22:30 PM to 6:00 AM, and entry and exit is not permitted except in emergencies.

Can I park my car next to the tent?

Can I bring in food, drinks, and cooking utensils?

Only drinks may be brought in (※Bornement fee 2,200 yen/room).
There is no corkage fee for drinks equivalent to one 500ml plastic bottle per person.

For hygiene reasons, bringing in food and cooking utensils is prohibited.
Any food items you bring with you will be kept at the front desk and returned to you when you leave.

Where can I buy drinks during the meal?

Alcoholic beverages including champagne and various soft drinks are available at Village House from 17:00 to 22:00.

Can we have a BBQ even on rainy days?

The BBQ corner has a special curtain surrounding the table and BBQ grill.

What are the meals for children and infants?

For dinner, we offer children's favorites such as hamburgers and seafood, and for breakfast, we offer pancakes and macaroni salad for young children.

What bedding is available for babies and children?

The tent can be used as a bed for small children to sleep in.
If you can sleep alone, we highly recommend trying out a sleeping bag. In the cabin, you can push two beds together to create space for sleeping together.

Will there be insects?

Mauna Village is located in the mountains, surrounded by abundant nature, so insects may appear depending on the season. Please bring your own insect repellent.

What should I do if I encounter a wild animal?

Please inform the staff. Please do not make unnecessary noise or approach the animals.

We do not allow private reservations during business hours.

If you are staying at a hotel or inn that is a member of the Iwaki Yumoto Onsen Ryokan Association, you can purchase a "2-day admission ticket" that is cheaper than a 1-day ticket and allows you to enter for two days. Tickets are only sold at the counter of each hotel or inn.
