Nemophila is also known as "Ruri Karakusa" in Japanese and "Baby Blue Eyes" in English, and its delicate blue and light blue flowers spread all over the place.
The sight of the vast 4.2 hectare Miharashi Hill covered in approximately 530 million blue nemophila flowers is truly breathtaking.

Located on the Pacific coast in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, you can enjoy colorful flowers throughout the year, such as nemophila, daffodils, and tulips in spring, poppies and roses in early summer, zinnias and sunflowers in summer, kochia and cosmos in autumn, and ice tulips in winter.
Approximately 530 million nemophila flowers cover the entire Miharashi Hill in blue, and the blue scenery created by the interweaving of the sky and sea is truly spectacular.
