■Introduction to Iwaki City Nagakura Elementary School and our company's connection

Iwaki City Nagakura Elementary School has its roots in the history of the Iwasaki Pit of the Joban Coal Mine, and is an elementary school with close ties to Spa Resort Hawaiians.
Every year, in the 6th grade comprehensive learning period, in cooperation with the Tokiwa Community Center, the students work on learning with the aim of "learning about coal mines, getting to know their hometown, and thinking about how they want to live their lives in the future." In the 2024 comprehensive learning period, titled "My Community Project," the students investigated the current situation and issues in the Tokiwa Yumoto area, and engaged in activities to spread the appeal of the area to the outside world from the students' perspective. They created a map summarizing the highlights of the Tokiwa Yumoto area, and when they went on a school trip to Tokyo in November this year, they distributed the map to tourists in Asakusa and other places.
Spa Resort Hawaiians received a proposal to create pamphlets, original T-shirt designs, and food and beverage menus based on the children's learning outcomes as a way to increase the appeal of the area, and will cooperate to make this a reality, with plans to sell the original T-shirts and food and beverage menus at stores within the facility.
